My Lord,
I have the honour to transmit herewith copy of a
despatch from His Majesty's Consul General at Shanghai,
dealing with the question of the deposit to be made with
the Registrar of Companies Shanghai by "China" Fire and
Insurance Companies under the provisions of the Chine
(Companies) Amendment Order in Council.
In virtue of the authority conferred upon me by
Article 7 of the Order in Council, I have issued the Regu-
lations in the form drafted by the Crown Advocate, and I
trust that my action in this matter has Your Lordship's
approval.
